Thank you to National Lottery players

Light Peer Support are delighted to be awarded National Lottery Community Fund
Since Light was established in 2010, the number of people we’ve helped has grown from year to year. We started by offering one peer support group a week and now we run multiple weekly volunteer-led peer support groups, one-to-one sessions, counselling and online support for women and their partners and families. We now support approximately 350 women per year.
It’s with grants, such as this fantastic award from the National Lottery Community Fund, that we can run our premises and continue to provide vital services. The funds also ensure our users have a warm, comfortable and safe place to get the support they need.
Thank you to everyone who plays the National Lottery allowing the National Lottery Community Fund to support small charities and provide vital services to our local communities.
